How to connect AirPods to a laptop?
Let’s explore how to connect AirPods to any laptop. We use Apple’s AirPods for other Apple devices, but that does not mean that you cannot use them on the Windows Laptop. At first, pairing AirPods with a PC is not at all intuitive, as the charging case with the AirPods has to be in use, but once you know the procedure, it’s quick.
With Apple’s H1 chip —- or W1 chip, the original AirPod — Apple AirPods magically pairs with other devices. Still, with the availability of Bluetooth in every idevice, you can almost as easily match them to other devices. (Not as magical as a non-Apple gadget would not know when you take AirPod out of your ear to pause your audio, podcast, or video)

Connecting your Airpods to a PC
Open the Settings program on your PC and choose the Key Menu Devices. Make sure that you enable the toggle switch for Bluetooth on the Bluetooth & other devices tab. Next, on top of the Bluetooth toggles switch, press Add Bluetooth or other devices.
In their case, that comes with the Airpods, place them inside them, and open the lid. Click and hold the back of the case button until you see the light status between your two AirPods start to pulsate white and then release. In the Add System Window, your AirPods should appear. Select and link to pair.
Can they be reconnected again after the first time connection?
You can reconnect your AirPods with your PC for listening to music, streaming YouTube, digital conference, and so on by going back to the Bluetooth & another system tab in the Preferences after first communication between your Windows 10 PC and your AirPods.
The Audio header displays all of your paired audio devices. Click on the Connect button and pick your AirPods from the list.
Using the Mac for AirPods
Make sure your Mac has Mojave 10.14.4 or older if you are using AirPods (2nd generation). You will need Catalina 10.15.1 or later for the AirPods Pro.
You may be ready to use the AirPods on your iPhone, and your Mac will need to sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID. Set the Bluetooth Menu or Monitor Volume in your Mac’s menu bar in your ears and press. Then choose AirPods from the list.
If in the Bluetooth or the volume control menu you don’t see your AirPods, then pair your AirPods with your Mac:
- On your Mac, from the Apple Menu, pick Device Settings and then Bluetooth.
- Ensure you are on Bluetooth.
- In this case, place all AirPods and open the lid.
- Hold on to the backside of the case and push on the setup button before the light shines bright.
- In the Devices list, pick your AirPods and press Connect.
